March 3 - Just spoke to John. He & Luz spent 6 hours at Stanford U. Medical Center today. They met with 14 different people at the hospital to prep Luz mentally and physically for her surgery, and to fill out all the necessary paperwork. Everything went smoothly, efficiently, and (amazingly) on time. John said the staff at the hospital were great.
Luz's surgery is still scheduled for Friday, March 6 but the surgery time has changed. She will be admitted to the hospital at 10:00am. Surgery will begin around 1:00pm. Thanks to all of you who are keeping her in your thoughts & prayers.
